Why: The current issues we face on this planet are complex and intertwined so they must be tackled simultaneously and systematically. We need a dynamic system that can respond to challenges rapidly, as we create them. The current system is not designed to do this. Neither our politicians nor existing corporations are equipped to deal with what we are currently facing. The solution requires a dissemination of information never before seen on this planet. We need information to be available to everyone in a usable format which means we need to be able to understand it and trust it. For people to be able to focus on innovation such as creating, inventing, discovering we need to de-stress their current everyday lives. When people are fed, clothed, housed and connected to people and have access to the tools they need to thrive, we all reap the benefit from what is created as a result. We CAN create a world of abundance and peace for everyone, within one generation by enough of us working together (starting with a handful).
What: Together we are going to create and maintain our own technology company that builds the tools we need to live abundant free individual lives while coordinating as a whole for maximum benefit. We will design tools for the purpose intended (transportation, health, food, connection,etc) instead of merely for profit. In so doing we can improve the life of nearly every single human being on this planet.
How: With an ongoing meaningful conversation fueled by powerful questions that we answer in small groups so that everyone's voice is heard. We start the conversation on existing Tech that is free and readily available to have the conversations required to create our own platform that is designed FOR this purpose. The purpose of having a conversation and creating the tangible results from them. A social media platform designed for our own social change and collaboration. A social media company that is owned and operated by and for the people (members). We start with a culture of growth by allowing humans to be human (be authentic and imperfect). We allow mistakes and the inevitable learning that arises.
Every conversation is led by a meaningful question. We are continually asking questions like…
What do we want?
What is not working for us?
How can we help ourselves and one another?
By constantly looking to improve and doing what we can to the best of our current individual and group ability we follow a path towards, but never obtain, Utopia. An ever improving system we all benefit from.
This conversation has infinite iterations and we are going to tweak it until there is a way that works for nearly every individual. We are going to crowdsource the questions and invite everybody to simply participate in the conversation.
Who: Anyone who wishes to participate. Invitation is open to anyone and everybody. All you have to do is bring you exactly as you are with your current level of knowledge, experiences and ideas. Everything is voluntary and individuals are encouraged to contribute in a way they enjoy.
Where: Mainly online but many projects will also have real world outcomes that will be local to global in scale.
When: Currently we are going to host one question per week with multiple time slots available as we work out the process of having an online conversation in small groups and how we mimic the “World Cafe” experience online. As we grow we will get to a place where we have a daily question with people being able to participate in as many half an hour time slots ( 0 to 48) as they desire on a schedule that works for them. We workout how to best facilitate this ongoing conversation on existing platforms as we work towards creating our own. Imagine if spending 2 hours on social media was actually saving our world and creating real change and it was FUN.
Once we have the platform that is designed TO host a meaningful conversation around a question then projects and membership will grow exponentially unleashing humanity on all the issues simultaneously. More people bring themselves to the conversation benefits us all. In such a world rapid innovation and social change will take place as we become evermore empowered and organized. With each new tool we create we have more information to work
with and more systems to benefit from.
